11cover keeps on Kinkaleri's reflection on the relationship between the movement/sound and the study of codes that support it, which started with the projects Esso, Due anzi una macchina, Serie B (that reactivated the talk on improvisation as a performing event) and TONO (which, through an auditive device, transformed the direct relationship between music and dynamic). In this case the work borrows a word, cover, to set a compositional thought, a state of mind that activates a straight connection between the musician and the dancer on the creation level, a one thread out of what you see and what you feel in the attempt to pursue a fixed dramaturgy.
To be aimless.
A body bent to the movement and a pro(fessional) audio plagiarism operator activate a constituent system. The fragmentation becomes the research field for a dramaturgy made of sounds, movements.
The sound-body and the dynamic-body use a process of fluid movement from one key to another, synchronizing their own tones and breaks.
All the elements lean on the scene organizing a delicate minuet: the costumes (the two costumes, one black wig, two blonde wigs, one sheet etc…); the sound system (one mixer for djing, one turntable, DI box, one audio mixer, the speakers, the monitors, one sub, the microphones, various object for acoustic sounds etc…); the stage objects (one chair, one microphone with a staff etc…).
To adopt a game rule.
Every sound or movement is fixed, there's no improvisation. Yet, on the scene, all is played between the technical matters and the live presence of the two subjects/performers who set a stressful connection outward. No aim exists, needs only.
The two figures take on their roles complying their own masteries. Nothing original but a sequence of refractions in order to take possession of everything that already is, and to organize a new version of tit without questioning anymore. You always deal with the show, into the show.

JIMMI GELLI - Crossing any gap between genres, he uses audio tracks (for the rythm), selected samples (for suggestions), he does real copy'n'paste, to create musical environments: the sound system, made of a CD player, microphones, turntables, sampler, mixes the music pieces from these audio sources. The direction is always the rhythm. He joins several artistic projects, in ever different contexts, in every situation concerned with the rhythm research. He's playing music in various groups with improvisation sets and he's collaborating to the Burp Enterprise project (an independent music label from Florence, Italy) for many years. For an year and half he's working at a musical course choosing to deal with theatrical projects.
